About Dianna

My name is Dianna Price, and I’m the author of Do You ParTy?, After the ParTy, and Tell Me Your Story. I also hold the credential of Certified Peer Recovery Supporter (CPRS) and am a recovery advocate. More importantly, I’m someone who has lived through addiction, relapse, shame, forgiveness, and the daily work of recovery.. My books, this website, and the resources here all grew out of one belief, Every recovery story has value, and sharing our experiences can help others find hope.

There was a time when addiction convinced me that my story was over. After a relapse, I found myself sitting in a hotel room believing I had destroyed everything I had worked so hard to rebuild. I was overwhelmed by guilt, hopelessness, and despair. In that moment, I even asked someone to take my life because I couldn’t see a way forward.

But God wasn’t finished with my story.

In my darkest hour, I cried out to Him. I believe He met me there—not because I deserved it, but because His grace is greater than my failures. That night became the turning point of my life. It marked the beginning of a journey back to honesty, healing, purpose, and hope.

Recovery hasn’t been perfect, but it has been real. Through God’s faithfulness, the support of people who refused to give up on me, and a willingness to tell the truth, my life has been rebuilt one day at a time. What I once saw as my greatest failures have become opportunities to encourage someone else.

Writing became part of that purpose.

What began as a way to process my own experiences has grown into a calling to encourage others who may feel trapped by addiction or weighed down by shame. My books are written honestly—not to glorify addiction, but to point people toward hope and remind them that recovery is possible.

Today, that mission extends beyond writing books. This website exists to encourage people to discover that every recovery story matters. Through my Tell Me Your Story project, I hope to give others a safe place to share their own journeys of survival, healing, and redemption. You don’t have to be an author to make a difference. Sometimes your story is exactly what someone else needs to hear to believe that recovery is possible.

Whether your hope comes through faith, family, treatment, counseling, friendship, or simply choosing not to give up today, I’m grateful you’re here. My prayer is that you leave this website with more hope than you had when you arrived.

Because if God could redeem my story, I believe He can redeem yours too.

“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe.”
— Psalm 107:2 (NIV)
